Pharmacist I
Your Opportunity:
The successful candidate will become part of the pharmacy team at Rockyview General Hospital, where they will collaborate closely with the team members in providing patient care for the hospital's inpatients and working to their full scope as a pharmacist. As part of their duties, they will also rotate through the inpatient pharmacy where they will work with the pharmacy team to ensure appropriate verification and distribution of medications throughout the hospital.
Description:
As a Pharmacist I, you will be responsible for the safe, effective and efficient preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical services. You will manage medication therapy for patients, both initially and on an ongoing basis. In addition, you will provide assessment, intervention and resolution of potential or actual drug-related problems and oversee activities related to compounding and packaging.

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Additional Prescribing Authorization (If eligible to apply for it).
Preferred Qualifications:Acute or inpatient hospital experience.
