Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Advanced Prescribing Authority. Recent experience as a clinically deployed pharmacist in a hospital setting providing comprehensive medication management services in a collaborative care model. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven organizational and decision-making abilities. Demonstrates ability to problem solve and use evidence-based medicine in direct patient care. Demonstrates self-directed learning, initiative and continuing professional development. Computer literacy for drug information and work processing. Ability to work with a wide variety of people in health care environment with professionalism and respect. Personal and professional accountability.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience with Connect Care including Beacon (oncology) is an asset. Recent experience in pediatrics. Completion of a Canadian accredited pharmacy residency program or advanced clinical pharmacy degree, e.g., post-baccalaureate PharmD. Recent project experience, volunteer experience or committee work. Recent experience with training and precepting. Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists.
