Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA) from the Alberta College of Pharmacists Registered with a PRACID from Alberta Health and permitted to order laboratory tests Pharmacy related experience in a hospital setting or in direct patient care providing comprehensive medication management services. Certificate of competency from the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada required

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced Clinical Pharmacy Degree an asset. Active membership with Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists. Experience with computerized medication order entry, IV mixture programs and drug distribution systems such as unit dose & automated dispensing cabinets. Completion of a year 1 hospital pharmacy residency with practice experience in a cardiovascular patient care setting. Completion of a year 2 cardiology hospital pharmacy residency program an asset.
