Bachelor in a health-related field is required. Minimum five years of pediatric acute care hospital experience required. Well balanced and developed clinical and Operational management skills, with proven performance. Minimum of two years in a management or leadership role in the health care sector. Current registration with appropriate licensing body is required. Computer and software agility skills required.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Strong Understanding of Patient and Family Centered Care, and Partners in Care concepts. Professional, collaborative and adaptable. Value the Health and Safety of both Patients and Staff. A predominant transformative leadership style is essential to this leadership role. Evidence of System's Transformation capabilities is required. Strong comprehension and creative strategic application of operational concepts related to capacity analysis, utilization, and patient flow is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
A complementary Masters degree is preferred (must make a convincing case of skill transfer).
