Required Qualifications:

As the ideal candidate for this position, you possess 3 to 5 years progressive management experience in a complex healthcare environment. The Manager, Critical Care & burns will have a demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Your effective leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, combine with ability to provide coaching and mentoring, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Strong track record in establishing and maintaining positive effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and a proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within an organization, and ideally have experience managing within unionized sector. When leading teams, you promote collaboration, and manage, delegate, and prioritize work effectively among team members. As a manager, you demonstrate caring and support to direct reports as you lead with values and demonstrate caring and support to the multi-disciplinary team.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience in critical care (ICU, CVICU, ED etc.) is required. The Manager, Critical Care and Burns will possess excellent analytical and decision-making skills, with a demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage short- and long-term plans and projects for the delivery of client-centered care. In this role, you will need demonstrated proficiency in both written and verbal communications, with the ability to influence others. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development is considered an asset.


Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred/Master's preparation in nursing health or business. Previous experience at a Patient Care Manager level is preferred; experience in large acute care hospital is a definite asset. Project management experience is preferred.
