Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited educational program in orthotic and prosthetic techniques including fabrication and repair.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Membership in Orthotics Prosthetics Canada. Able to fabricate orthotic devices or have related experience. Demonstrated ability to meet production timelines and multitask, being responsible for several projects at a time. Show evidence of a commitment to continuous education. Have good communication and organizational skills. Basic computer skills. Ability to work in a manner that exemplifies the values of AHS: Compassion, Accountability, Excellence, Respect, and Safety. Provide back-up coverage to Orthotic Technicians during planned absences and as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience fabricating an extensive range of orthotic and prosthetic devices. Able to advise team on fabrication and design options in order to problem solve and obtain optimal design.
