Required Qualifications:

Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Knowledge and experience of the housing first model and experience working with community housing partners and service providers. Knowledge and experience of AHS Addiction & Mental Health services in the Edmonton Zone. Most work is outreach in nature with community and home visits daily. Business insurance is required as client transport occurs. (Proof upon hire is required). Drivers abstract to be submitted upon proof of hire is required. Evening and weekend on call is a program expectation on a rotation basis with the rest of the team (approximately one week on call once or twice a year). Current Criminal Record Check to be submitted prior to date of hire for successful candidate. Current Basic Life Skills for Health Care Provider Level C – Heart and Stroke Foundation. Excellent attendance history, dependable and compatible personality as per references.

Preferred Qualifications:

3-5 years experience in Addiction & Mental Health - community services experience is preferred. Experience and knowledge of the housing first harm reduction philosophy of care and community services/providers that are involved in collaborate care. Knowledge and adaptability to work with individuals from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
