Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program, with a minimum of a Master's degree. Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar, including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:A keen, self-learner willing to work as a member of the Vascular Surgery team. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong team player with the proven ability to diffuse difficult situations. Strong computer skills with a preference for knowledge of Connect Care.
Preferred Qualifications:Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing. Certification in Vascular Surgery and NP experience is an asset. Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinical or hospital setting. BLS/ACLS certification. Strong research background or involvement in evidence-based practice. Experience in leadership roles within healthcare settings.
