Required Qualifications:

Masters of Nursing with Nurse Practitioner specialization. Active or eligible for registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). A minimum of 2 years full time (or equivalent in hours) recent NP experience. Current BCLS-HCP.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, including physicians. Experience promoting change processes. Experience mentoring and leading others. Strong written and verbal communication skills to navigate a fast-paced interdisciplinary environment, clarity and accuracy in patient care documentation for optimal continuity of care in a complex environment. Open to feedback. Experience with excellent patient and family centered care.


Preferred Qualifications:

Canadian Nurses Association certification credentials in Oncology nursing. NP experience in Oncology, Hematology or evidence of expert level practice skills. Clinical experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Alberta's Electronic Medical Records (Epic and Alberta NetCare).
