Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program and a minimum of master's degree. Registration with CRNA on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Demonstrated knowledge of adult teaching and learning principles. Ability to develop education resources and presentations related to chronic pain management for colleagues, staff, and stakeholders. Additional professional development to meet the requirements of the job. Excellent time management skills. Demonstrated ability to function effectively both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge and demonstrated proficiency with computers/electronics devices.
Preferred Qualifications:3 years adult focus NP practice experience in acute or ambulatory care. Experience providing chronic pain management. Knowledge of chronic pain management interventions and medications used to treat chronic pain. Experience with the development and/or implementation of evidence-based practice. Previous experience with Connect Care (EPIC).
