Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner Program or equivalent qualifications or approval. Eligible for licensure with CARNA as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the Family/All Ages Stream. Qualifications: Experience in a wide range of assessment, treatment and therapeutic interventions, health promotion, diagnostic procedures; and follow-up care in the community considered an asset. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Must understand and practice within full scope of their practice in an interdisciplinary team environment. Demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within an organization. Strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Effective leadership abilities combined with a strong commitment to working within a team environment and the ability to motivate and inspire other to achieve common goals. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Ability to plan, organize and manage short- and long-term plans and projects and deliver customer-focused results.
Additional Required Qualifications:
CPR (Basic Rescuer). Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work-related travel is needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in addiction and mental health. Experience in opioid agonist therapy.
