A Master of Nursing or equivalent graduate degree from a recognized school of nursing with a focus on advanced clinical nursing practice in child health. A minimum of 3 years full-time (or equivalent number of hours) pediatric experience as a Registered Nurse is required. Preference will be given to those with pediatric experience.
Additional Required Qualifications:The NP’s focus is providing expert clinical care in managing the health needs of individuals, families, and communities. Requires further knowledge and decision-making skills in assessment, diagnosis, and clinical management, including prescription of drugs. BCLS required. EMR (Electronic Medical Records) required.
Preferred Qualifications:PALS certification an asset. Specific knowledge and experience in pediatric dermatology is an asset and preferred.
