Required Qualifications:

Doctoral degree in Psychology in an applied area relevant to the practice setting from a Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA) program, with successful completion of an appropriate CPA or APA accredited residency, and successful completion of a two-year post-doctoral fellowship program with a focus in Neuropsychology (consistent with the Houston Guidelines). Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Successful completion of a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship program in Neuropsychology (prior to the start date) with specific experience in Pediatric Neuropsychology is required. Demonstrated experience in cognitive and neuropsychological assessment, consultation skills, and therapeutic intervention within a medical setting is required. In compliance with/or in support of AACN 2050 relevance initiative, the ACH Neuropsychology team is committed to recruiting a more diverse pool of neuropsychologists, creating a more inclusive work environment, and improving EDI in clinical practice and research within the field of neuropsychology. As such, our team is actively seeking clinicians preferably from historically excluded and underrepresented groups, including individuals from diverse linguistic, ethnic/ cultural, gender, and sexual identities (i.e., including, but not limited to, Black people, Indigenous people, people of color, people with disabilities, and 2SLGBTQIA+). Understanding and commitment to a Family Centered Care service delivery model is required. Experience working collaboratively in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated clinical experience and research productivity within oncology, neuro-oncology, and hematology in a pediatric hospital setting. Qualified candidates with expertise and/or experience in equity, diversity and inclusion work preferred. Linguistic diversity and proficiency in multiple languages considered an asset. BCLS - HCP certification.
