Completion of diploma from an accredited Medical Resonance Imaging (MRI) Program required or completion of certificate from an accredited MRI Technologist program plus a diploma from an accredited Program in Medical Radiology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasound), Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy. Active or eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Strong organizational skills. Ability to collaborate and work effectively with technical, medical and administrative personnel. Coaching and mentoring skills to foster an environment of collaboration and effective teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience as MRI Tech I in a hospital setting preferred. Meditech and PACS proficiency an asset. Volunteering for AHS DI Provincial Committees, Superuser training or additional responsibilities in the department an asset. AHS annual continuing education and ACMDTT education requirements up to date and applicable additional courses preferred. Demonstrated participation in AHS Diagnostic Imaging Quality program/Peervue. Experience and aptitude in mentoring students an asset.
