Required Qualifications:

Completion of a master's degree in psychology; a bachelor's degree in social work incorporating education in mental health assessment, brief counseling, and crisis intervention; a master's or bachelor's degree in occupational therapy with similar educational components; a bachelor's degree in nursing with training and experience in mental health assessment, crisis intervention, and brief counseling; or a bachelor's degree in psychiatric nursing. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.

Additional Required Qualifications:

NVCI. BLS. 2 years of experience working in a mental health setting, providing direct support to individuals with mental health challenges. Experience working with Intellectual Disability, Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Substance Use and other mental health conditions as indicated within the DSM-5. Experience managing a caseload and working in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with children and adult populations. Experience using a family centered and trauma informed approach. Knowledge of the GOA's Disability Services system as well as the Children and Family Services system. Understanding of guardianship status. Experience providing direct support to clients and their caregivers. Experience collaborating with other healthcare programs as well as psychiatric inpatient settings.
