Completion of diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Cross-sectional anatomy courses in progress or completed. Work experience in Computed Tomography and Interventional Radiology in a Trauma Services, Thoracic Surgery, ICU, inpatient programs, and outpatient referrals. This role requires flexibility, including availability for all shifts—weekends, evenings, nights, and after-hours on-call. Additionally, you must be capable of performing all physical components of the job, such as pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting, carrying, or transferring patients and supplies over 50 lbs. The position also requires wearing lead aprons for extended periods, up to a minimum of 6.75 hours.
