Completion of Information Management/Library Technology Diploma.
Additional Required Qualifications:Proficiency in information technology and computer applications used in libraries. Beneficial memberships include Alberta Association of Library Technicians (AALT), Canadian Health Libraries Association (CHLA), Northern Alberta Health Libraries Association (NAHLA), and/or Southern Alberta Health Libraries Association (SAHLA). Experience working in a large organization and as part of a large, geographically dispersed team is desirable. Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and communicate using online tools. Ability to communicate effectively in a professional and service-oriented manner. Ability to effectively manage and set priorities when faced with multiple tasks and deadlines. Ability to resolve conflict in a timely and professional manner. Ability to follow and adhere to Alberta Health Services policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:At least one year of directly related library experience in a hospital or health care setting is an asset.
