Baccalaureate Degree in a related field required. 3 - 5 years relevant experience in large and complex organizations Knowledge and experience in any of the following areas: HR Systems, Workforce Admin, Experience in a unionized environment Experience in health care or other government agencies Demonstrated proficiency with Talent Management Systems (Taleo preferred) Demonstrated proficiency with HR Information Systems (PeopleSoft preferred) Proficient in MSOffice suite, including Excel A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Equivalencies of education and experience will be considered. Good judgment and independent decision making required for complex issues Successful record of achievement as a leader, including a role in quickly building up a high-performance team Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, client focused orientation and commitment to providing long term quality services. Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others
Additional Required Qualifications:
Able to work in a fast growing and challenging environment and must be able to handle multiple issues/assignments concurrently Able to manage and lead teams to deliver on quality, accuracy and sustainable targets aligned with organizational operational priorities. Proven ability to identify, measure and meet or exceed metrics (SLAs, OLAs, etc.) Ability to read and interpret collective agreements a plus Proven ability to identify areas for change, and to implement change and gain acceptance by stakeholders Demonstrated business acumen, including ability to analyze strategic requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a document management system is preferred (ABBYY and OnBase) CHRP designation would be an asset
