Required Qualifications:

- Completion of Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in health, health promotion or related field. - Minimum five years’ in a leadership and program planning role ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity (healthcare experience an asset).

Additional Qualifications:

- Demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. - Strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including First Nation, Metis and Inuit communities. - Demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Ability to manage human, financial and physical resources. - Ability to plan, organize and manage short and long term plans and projects and deliver patient-focused results.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Ability to speak or understand any of the northern Indigenous languages. - Ability to speak or understand French. - A solid background and knowledge of determinants of health and diverse populations such as Mennonite, Hutterite, French, First Nation, Metis and Inuit including history, healing practices and health risk factors/disparities.
