Required Qualifications:

Post-secondary education related to a professional designation inclusive of fleet management, business or healthcare administration, journeyperson automotive technician certification, or EMS credentials with fleet experience in a large organization. Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver Licence with no more than 6 demerit points.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Leadership experience in people management, including recruitment, employee development, performance management, task delegation and coaching/mentoring of employees from diverse backgrounds including unionized and management employees. Ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Business writing skills to develop business summary reports, briefing notes, fleet management reports, policy, procedure, and processes. Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills. Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office products. Data management and analytical skills to perform fleet lifecycle analysis of 650 fleet vehicles.


Preferred Qualifications:

An undergraduate degree. Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) or Certified Automotive Fleet Supervisor (CAFS) or currently enrolled. Knowledge in fleet procurement, vehicle lifecycle management, vehicle acquisition and disposition process. Ability to develop emergency vehicle technical specifications and standards. Demonstrated experience using fleet management software systems such as Automotive Resources International (ARI). Work experience on an ambulance as a Paramedic is an asset.
