Baccalaureate degree in nursing required; however, skills and experience relevant to nursing practice in community sector may be considered. Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) A minimum of 5 within the last 3 years' experience in a supervisory role, ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. A minimum of 3 within the last 5 years' experience in LTC or Home Care. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Excellent communication, de-escalation and conflict management skills. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Ability to plan, organize and manage short and long-term projects and deliver customer focused results. Ability to foster a climate of cooperation amongst the team and build solid relationships with public agencies, government, committees and other partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Masters preferred. Project management experience preferred.
