One or more of the following is required: B. Eng. with specialization in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or recognized equivalent / Journeyman Certification in a Building Trade / NAIT diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Technology or 5th Class Power Engineering Certificate. Minimum of 10 years of facility maintenance experience is required along with 5 years leadership experience in directing day-to-day work, corresponding with multiple stakeholders and communicating at multiple levels of leadership. Must have advanced knowledge of facilities and maintenance management methods and procedures. Advanced knowledge of site infrastructure and departmental procedures/operations is required. Demonstrated fiscal (financial) competence. Must have good knowledge of computer applications and programs. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be creative, adaptable and must possess good practical knowledge and well developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
