Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an Alberta College of Paramedics approved Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) program. A minimum of 10 years’ experience within EMS. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership capacity. The incumbent will demonstrate a clear pattern of professional and personal development.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Practical experience in strategic planning, leadership, and project/program management. Ability to foster a climate of cooperation amongst groups and build strong relationships with various stakeholders. Ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues.


Preferred Qualifications:

A Degree in a Health Sciences Discipline or equivalent level of education training and experience. Active registration and practice permit with the ACP. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered. Practical experience in strategy, policy development, leadership, and project and program management. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
