Completion of diploma in Medical Radiation Technology. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT). Completion of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license. Must have a minimum of 2 years previous mammography experience. Must be able to perform Physical duties related to the position such as operating Mammography equipment, performing QC tests and positioning clients. Standing for extended periods of time during the 12 hours shift and long hours driving to and from the mobile sites. Carrying up to 20 lbs. at waist level, 10 to 20 lbs. on shoulder as well as right and left hand side carrying. Low level and front 10 lbs. lifting. As well as bending, crouching, rotating trunk, climbing stairs, reaching above shoulder level.
Preferred Qualifications:Post graduate course(s) in mammography (e.g. CAMRT Mammo I and Mammo II). Specialty Certificate in Breast Imaging.
