Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education in a related field and/or technical certification in a related field required or 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate as per ABSA kW rating guidelines where boiler support is necessary.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Must have a 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate. Must have 5 years Lead hand or supervisory experience and be confidant delegating work tasks to others. Must have 3-5 years' experience working in a hospital setting performing maintenance and operations tasks. Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Must have basic computer skills using a Windows operating system. Must be able to work an on-call rotation and respond to night, evening and weekend callbacks within 30 minutes. Must be able to regularly lift 20kg and able to stand, walk, crouch, kneel or work on ladders for extended periods of time.
