Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design and/or a diploma in architecture technology or related discipline. Knowledge or previous experience with commercial furniture system, certifications in Six Sigma, Lean, 5S and/or Prosci® Change Management would be considered an asset. The Logistics Planner should possess a minimum of 3-5 years of progressive commercial and/or institutional experience in design and/or accommodation planning with preference in a healthcare environment. The candidate should possess a proven track record of managing projects, changes, and providing innovative solutions for complex issues. Building effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders is key to this role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience in tracking project status, and the ability to managing multiple assignments are important qualities the candidate should possess.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Key qualifications include ability to plan, organize, manage short and long-term project to delivery customer-focus results, and knowledge of the current healthcare design guidelines, Building Codes, and construction standards. Skillsets and experience in critical thinking, problem-solving, and negotiation are key to the role, as well as the ability to work under pressure, manage tight schedules, and meet project deadlines effectively. Facilitating and coordinating activities in an active healthcare facility and knowledge of Alberta Health Services internal policies and processes would be considered an asset. Proficiency of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCad, and Adobe Pro is expected. Experience in InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, AHS e-Facilities software would be considered an asset.
