Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

CLPNA registration required and expected to be maintained through your employment. BCLS - HCP level required and expected to be maintained through your employment. Graduation from an approved nursing education program. Previous Arthroplasty experience required. Familiarity with caring for bariatric patients with mobility restrictions required. Demonstrated excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and priority setting skills required. Demonstrated reliability required. Able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Basic computer skills are required. New graduates welcome to apply. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with ESP preferred. Experience with Nurse Call Responder 5 preferred. Experience with VernaCare System preferred. Direct IV, PICC, care of spinal anesthesia patients experience preferred.
