Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Must have the physical capability to perform all aspects of the role, including the ability to lift up to and including 50 lbs. Basic computer skills required. Strong leadership and critical thinking skills, demonstrated by the ability to direct other healthcare workers, problem solve and escalate clinical concerns in a timely and appropriate manner. Requires strong communication and organizational skills and must be committed to patient and family centered care. Demonstrated ability to maintain collaborative working relationships with patients, families and team members.
Preferred Qualifications:1 to 2 years of Neuroscience experience preferred.
