Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Qualifications:Two to three years current emergency experience required. Previous experience in a critical care setting required Knowledge of Nursing Standards/protocols required. Strong interpersonal communication skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated ability to work well as a member of the team. Ability to work under stressful, demanding and changing conditions. Strong problem solving skills. Excellent organizational skills. Attention to detail, keen observation skills. Current proficiency with SCM/SEC preferred.
