As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities and populations, while taking necessary steps to ensure their safety and well-being. In your role, you will utilize nursing processes, through critical thinking, problem solving and decision making, as well as teach, counsel and advocate on behalf of patients and their families. You will play a leadership role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion and maintenance. Description:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, and demonstrated skill level, in alignment with applicable legislation, standards of practice, policies, and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, high quality, patient and family centred care while reflecting the shared vision and values of the organization.

Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active, or eligible for, registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum one year experience, in the past two years, in Acute Care / Obstetrics / Emergency setting, working to full RN scope of practice. FERN or ENPEP, CTAS, ACLS, LEAD II, Non Violent Crisis Intervention, CAM A & B, PALS, TNCC, Paediatrics Building blocks
Preferred Qualifications:Coaching and Leadership Development, Palliative Care 101, Medical Management, Mental Health in Non-Psych Setting, Trauma 101, Obs 101, EARN, LERN
