Your duties include triaging patient care and assessing admissions, managing safe discharges or transfers to other units, and prioritizing care needs for the Emergency Department population while working closely within professional interdisciplinary and interdepartmental teams. You will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level and AHS policies and procedures. Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:As required.
Preferred Qualifications:CTAS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS preferred.
