Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum one (1) year nursing experience obtained within the past 2 years working greater than 0.70 FTE.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in emergency or urgent care setting. Ability to work as a member of a team and to request and accept direction as required. Critical thinking skills, within scope of practice, including clinical judgment, problem solving skills and strong decision-making ability. Professional interpersonal and communication skills. Effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills. Understands Patient + Family Centered Care philosophy. \
