Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Qualifications:

Ability to lead and delegate as appropriate Ability to work as a member of a team and to request and accept direction as required. Demonstrates critical thinking skills, within scope of practice, including clinical judgement, problem solving skills, and strong decision making ability. Ability to flex time between acute care, LTC and assist in Emergency.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous rural experience preferred Supportive Pathways course preferred
