Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:There is also an expectation to be a mobile worker. This role requires travel up to 100 km/day caring for clients in their homes or in Rural community. Possession of a valid drivers’ license and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work related purposes is a requirement of this position. You will be responsible to carry and move equipment, use and operate a laptop computer and mobile phone, and for manual handling (lifting, lowering, carrying, pushing and pulling) as a regular part of the job. Learning resources and training are provided to safely perform work.
Preferred Qualifications:Completion of a post-basic Medication Administration Course for LPN’s Recent work experience in a community based setting, Home Care experience preferred
