Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:1 year recent experience up to full time equivalent in similar acute care setting. 1 year recent experience up to full time equivalent in similar rural setting. Strong communication as evidenced by reference check. Demonstrated time management and organizational skills Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as member of a care team Good attendance as evidenced by reference check.
Preferred Qualifications:2-5 years Nursing Experience in an Adult Clinical Care Setting. Completion of Supportive Pathways or equivalent dementia care education or experience. Demonstrated critical thinking, effective decision making and conflict resolution skills. Demonstrated Palliative Care experience. Demonstrated education and experience with wound care.
