Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Qualifications:Demonstrated ability to perform physical assessments. Demonstrated ability to work well with team members. Demonstrated excellence of organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Must work to full scope of practice, including but not limited to I.V. initiation certification.
Preferred Qualifications:Fluent in spoken and written English preferred. Current NRP certification preferred. Recent NICU experience preferred. Basic computer skills an asset.
