Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Journeyperson Trade Certificate from Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training.

Additional Required Qualifications:

This position must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and have a strong understanding of how of building infrastructure, systems and equipment operate. They must be able lead in the development of operational documents, procedures and take part in training (train the trainer) for FM&E staff on all applicable building systems and equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Operational experience with starting up new hospital. Experience with setting up a maintenance department including defining operational requirements, setting up procedures, and training of staff.
