Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Five years current experience in a related clinical laboratory area as applicable with a minimum of two years’ experience in a supervisory role. You are an organized, independent worker and strong team player committed to providing quality patient care. You have maintained up to date technical skills and knowledge of current methodologies and/or instrumentation in the Core Laboratory setting. You demonstrate superior problem solving skills, decision making and troubleshooting skills. You are approachable and reliable. Your communication and interpersonal skills enable you to build and maintain relationships, facilitate teamwork, resolve conflict and manage change and resources. You have proven reliability, initiative and leadership abilities. You have a Patient and Family Centered Care focus.
Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with both the Sunquest and CoPath Laboratory Information systems and general computer applications is preferred.
