Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Physical Education, Exercise Physiology, or equivalent exercise science degree. Current Clinical Exercise Physiologist to (CSEP) or the American College of Sports Medicine's Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, Physical Education, Exercise Physiology, or equivalent exercise science degree required. BCLS certification required. Minimum 2 years current experience working with populations with chronic disease required. Clinical background/experience in kinesiology or exercise/lifestyle counseling, testing, prescribing and monitoring of special populations in Renal. Ability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment required. Intermediate computer skills required. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organizational and assessment skills, and the ability to work effectively as a team player while maintaining effective and respectful working relationships required. Travel required to facilitate exercise programs in community and AHS sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Kinesiology preferred. Strong knowledge of exercise testing protocols in all areas of exercise physiology including anthropometry, strength, flexibility and aerobic capacity preferred. Experience in providing services to diverse renal patients groups including Renal pre-transplant, hemodialysis, PD and CKD preferred. Leadership skills, and team leadership experiences preferred.
