Post-secondary degree, Telecommunications/IT Technology degree/diploma, or equivalent. 15+ years of telecommunications industry-related experience in a large, complex, multi-vendor environment. Expert-level knowledge of telecommunications systems at the Enterprise level. Working knowledge of telecommunications-related applications, architecture and design, including both on-premise and hosted deployments. Understanding of networks, network security, servers and end-user devices. Knowledge and/or experience with ITIL standard practices. Extensive people-management experience: leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving at minimum. Excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat. Familiarity with architectural drawings. Familiarity with Avaya, Cisco, Mitel, and NEC telecommunications systems. Familiarity with telco-based services SIP, ISDN PRI, Centrex, etc. Strong financial acumen.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a health services or public sector environment is desirable. Familiarity with Nurse Call systems, and the integration of these systems into the telecommunications environment. Familiarity with Unified Communications platforms (i.e. MS Teams, WebEx, etc.).
