Required Qualifications:

IT or Bachelor degree with five years of experience in a Health Care Setting is required. 5 years management experience in IT and digital eHealth.Have practical experience and technical expertise focusing on one or more areas of digital health, including: Mobile medical apps, medical device interoperability and interfacing. Digital therapeutics, machine learning, artificial intelligence and novel digital health technology. Digital health product development, software as a medical device. Big data and advanced analytics, cloud storage and computing and wireless communication.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Thought leader regarding the role of information systems and the use of technology to foster innovation. Strong communicator with a proven ability to explain digital health technical concepts to a non-technical audience in a way that they can understand and appreciate. Project management or project governance Proven ability to raise funding from grant-making institutions with experience developing a grant from inception through the award. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact culturally, linguistically, and diplomatically with diverse internal and external individuals. Comfortable managing in a flexible, changing and virtual environment, with the ability to be ready to adjust plans and direction in response to local feedback and the iterative nature of digital health projects. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English required. Proficiency in another language a plus.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with EMR or CIS is an asset. Health Economics and Financial Management. Project Management certification. Group Facilitation. Adult Education. Master’s Degree and 6 years of experience in Digital Health, Informatics, Computer Science, and/or Clinical Information Systems is preferred.
