Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma in Information Technology, Information Sciences or related health discipline and/or equivalent experience. Minimum 7 years ‘experience in information technology and/or health related discipline. Minimum 5 years’ experience with computer software and databases. Experience in a functional leadership, deliverable coordinator or project manager capacity. Ability to transform end user functional requirements into a workflow based system design. Specialized depth in software technology. Industry knowledge and experience of physician billing practices. Experience leading staff and business clients. Self-motivated and ability to work with little supervision. Superior customer relationship skills. Must possess a valid passport and/or documentation allowing entry into the USA and must be able to travel within Alberta.


Additional Required Qualifications:

All applicants must successfully complete an Aptitude test (defined as achieving Tier 1 or Tier 2) as part of this recruitment. Applicants will be sent information on how to register for the Aptitude test after applying for this position. Travel is required. Out-of-country travel required for training purposes. While travel to the USA is restricted due to Covid-19, accreditation (virtual instructor led training) will take the place of certification training.


Preferred Qualifications:

Epic Certification or proficiency in Willow Ambulatory Epic Willow end user training. Completion of degree in Information Technology, Information Sciences or related health discipline and/or equivalent experience. Experience in a healthcare environment. Experience implementing, supporting and upgrading single vendor integrated platforms. Epic systems experience or training. Experience working with physician billing applications and/or physician billing practices and workflow.
