Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years’ support experience in PeopleSoft including PT8.55 / HCM9.2 with oracle as RDBMS as Senior PSADMIN & application architect or Senior PSADMIN with Physical DBA responsibilities. Required experience: Must have strong understanding of different layers of PeopleSoft architecture with many years of support experience. Proven expertise in installing, configuring & managing all tiers of large applications preferably PeopleSoft HCM release 9.2, PeopleTools 8.4/8.5 and related 3rd party products – WebLogic, Tuxedo, Cobol, apache etc. Proven experience in upgrading [or assisting] PeopleSoft from HCM8.8/PT8.48 to HCM9.1/PT8.53 and to HCM9.2/PT8.55. Proven experience in PeopleSoft change assistant and PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) along with real-life in applying PUMS fully and/or partially based on business needs. In-depth expertise in handing PeopleSoft migrations manually and/or using automated tools such as Phire. Intermediate to expert level working knowledge of oracle optimizer engine and ability to understand complex execution plans to help tune complex SQL’s.


Additional Required Qualifications:

In-depth Expertise to oracle database administration activities including performance troubleshooting (using oracle AWR, diagnostic / tuning packs), performance tuning in oracle 11c and above. Proven experience in installing/configuring/managing batch automation tools such as CA Autosys, BMC control-m. In-depth expertise in administering and/or using end-user experience monitoring and/or synthetic transaction monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Sitescope etc. Proficient with Windows, Linux & AIX plate-forms from application and troubleshooting perspective. Intermediate to expert knowledge in writing/maintaining PowerShell or Bash scripts used for automating various system tasks. In-depth troubleshooting knowledge of various browsers related problems for various applications such RMS and PeopleSoft. Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, documentation and organizational skills. Working experience in preparing SLA reports, performance & capacity planning report presentable to client leaderships and IT executives. Ability to set & meet personal deadlines and adapt to changes in priority. Proficient in SDLC and ITIL methodologies. Ability to support multiple 7*24 availability applications.


Preferred Qualifications:

Qualifications that are considered an asset: Degree in computer Science or Computer System Technology. Experience in a large/complex unionized healthcare environment. Previous PeopleSoft Upgrade experience as Upgrade DBA/Specialist. Oracle certification in Oracle database and/or PeopleSoft Administration is preferred. Experience in Change Management systems such as VSM/vFire and Phire[PeopleSoft Change management] etc.
