IT Analyst II - Cardiology Technical Support

ECGs, Stress Tests, Holter Monitors, Pacemakers, Ablations, Cardiac Echoes, Cardioversions, Tilt Tables, Coronary Angiograms. Welcome to the world of Cardiology Procedures and the HEART of Connect Care! This is your opportunity to join the Cardiology Technical Support Team supporting the Connect Care module Cupid and other Cardiology applications such as Philips iECG and GE Muse. You will be balancing operational support and optimization obligations along with continual upgrade and project related tasks. This role will provide the opportunity to learn all aspects of Cardiology workflow instead of specializing in a single area. Ownership of incidents and service requests related to ordering, protocolling, scheduling, performing, documenting, and resulting Cardiology procedures is expected. Creating team-facing support documentation is also required. This is a permanent position, which will give you the Epic proficiency and Connect Care experience you need to further your Cardiology IT career or pivot to other Connect Care areas.
Description:
As an IT Analyst II, you will provide technical support related to information technology applications either directly to users of the systems or to service delivery functions. You will ensure reliable operations of information systems, resolve complex technical problems, find solutions to customer needs, and lead projects and program initiatives. You will be responsible for more advanced application, telecom or technology support duties. You will investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex problems that have typically been escalated several levels before assignment to this position, and will translate business requirements into technical requirements for a solution and recommend a potential approach to the vendor. You will analyse the solution provided to ensure that it fits both technical requirements and business needs. You will also spend time on project or initiative leadership and delivery.

Completion of bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Qualifying applicants will be required to pass an aptitude test designed by Epic as part of the recruitment process. Candidates with a previous successful aptitude test, Epic Proficiency/Accreditation/Certification in another Epic Application are not required to take the aptitude test. Candidates with scores that meet the acceptable standard may move forward to the next step of the recruitment process. Successful candidate must complete Epic application proficiency within first 45 calendar days from date of hire. Experience transforming end user functional requirements into a workflow-based software implementation. Specialized depth in software technology. Knowledge of emerging trends in technology relating to software applications. Experience leading staff and business clients. Self-motivated and ability to work with little supervision. Superior customer relationship skills. This position is required to configure the Epic platform. Connect Care Experience, Cardiology Application Support Experience, Cardiology Clinical Knowledge, Familiarity with Cupid and Cardiology Workflow.
