Your Opportunity:

This position works directly with other Change Managers, the Change Management team lead and sometimes the Director of change management in the execution of their duties as a change manager. This position would provide mentoring and coaching to peers and others outside service management in regards to service management practices, in particular those related to change management. There are no supervisory duties associated with this position. Duties include: Manage change requests: Review and authorize change requests in collaboration with change owners, CAB members, and support staff. Ensure that impacts are known, risks mitigated, appropriate plans developed for testing, communication, implementation, and contingencies, and all required approvals gathered. Confirm implementation of Changes to ensure intended results were achieved, and perform post implementation reviews when required. Follow up with change owners, as necessary, to ensure that changes progress through the various phases of the change management so that they are approved prior to implementation, and completed after implementation. Change advisory board: Participate in and/or facilitate Change Advisory Board meetings (CAB). Education: Demonstrate and promote the benefits and value of the Change Management process, and associated Service Management processes based on the ITIL framework. Deliver both formal training and informal coaching related to the Change Management process and use of the IT Service Tool. Continual Service Improvement. Participate in continual and innovative improvements to the Change Management process, associated tools, and templates. Please note the location is negotiable.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Broad understanding of IT fundamentals is required, as well as excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently. Business Analysis, written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

A working knowledge of ITIL principles is preferred. ITIL certification is an asset. 2-5 years of related job experience is preferred.
