As a valued member of the Technology Client Support Services (TCSS) team, you will deliver quality service in a fast-paced and high-energy environment. You will use your conceptual and practical experience to interpret clients’ needs, assess their requirements, investigate, diagnose, consult and resolve problems which are essential to business functions. This position is focused on operational security within TCSS.

Description:

Understand customer business requirements and work closely with other teams, vendors, and service providers to ensure the highest quality solution for our clients. As both a strategic and operational leader, provide team leadership and subject matter expertise to deliver and maintain a highly secured Windows operating environment. Stay abreast of technology trends and best practices and utilize this knowledge to influence our department’s strategy, while promoting the development and adoption of technology standards, to ensure we can meet the future needs of our clients. Providing support and coordination for team tasks, with opportunities for growth into a team lead role. Prioritizing, assigning, and monitoring team activities to meet SLAs, project deadlines, and response time targets. Overseeing Windows OS security, patch management, application security, antivirus systems, IT asset management, and secure print infrastructure. Monitoring incidents, problem and change management activities, and service requests, provincially. Supporting the development and maintenance of team schedules and on-call rotations. Coordinating work with customers, vendors, service providers, and other IT teams to ensure optimal efficiency and customer support. Providing regular team status reports on security status. Mentoring staff and helping them develop their abilities. Managing competing priorities related to operations, projects, and resources. Identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies. Monitoring service performance metrics and KPIs to recommend changes for enhanced efficiency and customer satisfaction. Assisting with new technology assessment, evaluation, and implementation. Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures in collaboration with peers and management. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology related discipline or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of technical related support work experience. Minimum 2 years of previous team management experience. Proven experience in Microsoft Security Cloud applications. Knowledge of ITIL processes and change management. Cyber Security Certification (e.g. CISSP, CertNexus, CompTIA). Enterprise Management solutions such as Ivanti Endpoint Manager, Ivanti UWM, SCCM. Knowledge of: Firewalls. VPNs. Proxies. Security information and event management systems (SIEMs). Expert knowledge of Windows OS. Familiarity with Mac and Linux OS is a plus. Familiarity with Wyse Management Suite is a plus. Experience managing secure print solutions in corporate settings. Familiarity with application security testing tools and secure software lifecycle. Good communication skills for cross-department and vendor interactions. Detail-oriented with a commitment to compliance and documentation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience in Microsoft Entra ID. Active Directory GPO administration. Project management skills. Virtualization technologies.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a large enterprise. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to lead and motivate. Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and environments.
