Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the operating room, PACU and Day Surgery departments. Demonstration of continuing education and leadership courses. Leadership and decision making/problem solving skills. Strong assessment skills. Proven written/oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge in critical care, perioperative nursing, connect care, Netcare, Outlook, Excel experience. Current Leadership experience. ACLS & PALS certification preferred. Perioperative course or CNA certification in perioperative nursing preferred.
