Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 5 years road based rural nursing experience with at least 2 years recent experience in Home Care and/or LTC. Strong working knowledge of CCHSS. Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Strong computer knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a virtual team.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years teaching experience preferably with an adult focus in a health care setting.
