This is a professional role which requires a bachelor’s degree or certification in Innovation, Business Analysis, IT, Analytics or a health related discipline and a minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a combination of strategic and operational business planning, working with corporate performance measures and budgets and business case development including experience with economic analysis, project management, research, analysis, business process improvement, and change management. This position will be part of Acute Care Alberta effective April 1, 2025. Additional Required Qualifications:Advanced communication, presentation and facilitation skills, including the proven ability to craft concise, effective, accurate and well-written reports for a variety of audiences. Excellent problem-solving abilities with the ability to transfer ideas, concepts and information into effective strategies. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives with changing and competing deadlines. Ability to make decisions in accordance with established policies and procedures. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a focus on balancing competing requirements and ensuring service is delivered accordingly. Proven ability to effectively handle sensitive information using discretion. A proactive approach and the ability to work independently on complex projects. Ability to synthesize and summarize data to inform initiative development and develop business cases for new projects. Advanced computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:BSc. degree in a related field. Consulting background. PMP/CPA - Project Management. Evidence-Based Medicine and/or Evidence-Based Decision-Making. Health Economics and Financial Management. Group Facilitation. Adult Education.
