Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Health Promotion, Public or Population Health, Health Education or a related field.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Strong knowledge and applied experience in quality improvement, strategic planning and organizational performance measurement. Understanding of Indigenous history and health. Strong analytic capabilities, accomplished written and oral communication skills, and demonstrated ability to build relationships and teams. Proficiency with computer Skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Visio and PowerPoint). Minimum five years education and/or related experience. Knowledge and sensitivity around the culture and health issues of Indigenous people as well as successful experience working in multi-cultural environments. Proven ability to foster partnerships within an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity as well as with public health agencies, government, committees, and other partners to deliver customer focused solutions. Demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. A demonstrated pattern of professional and personal development. Experience conducting quality improvement, performance measurement and/or knowledge integration in the health care or education field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong understanding of Indigenous data sources and experience conducting program and or project evaluations in the public sector. Project management designation and or experience. Experience with policy and standards development and accreditation processes.
